Initially...
Write me an email, use the form on this page, or call about your color and design needs.
We’ll schedule a 15 minute phone call to get acquainted and review your concerns and ideas. There’s No charge for this initial consult.
Schedule
a site visit to meet together with all decision-makers, if you are nearby. While at your location I will take additional photos.
Alternately, we’ll start with images you send me so I can become acquainted with your spaces. I can provide some tips for best photos. You do not need to be a professional!
Select and Review
Based on the color selections from the initial color decisions, I will order larger paint sheets to be sent to you from the manufacturer.
Different paint companies offer different sizes, from 4″x6″ to 8″x11″, at no charge.
Others will provide larger color sheets, actually painted, at a reasonable minimal fee.
There are also other great ways to experience paint colors before you paint, and I”ll share those ideas with you when we chat.
When you have had a chance to review the color sheets, we’ll chat or email to discuss all your concerns.
Testing Paint Colors on Your End...
I will provide you with information about “best practices” for actually testing physical paint colors before you invest in the gallons for your project.
This is also where our Digital Visualization Service (“Designer Color Palettes”) is very useful, especially for larger projects that use more paint colors.
Option: Digital Visualization Service
This unique service allows you to see your exterior or interior building with a new color scheme applied, without buying any paint at all! I typically offer 2-3 different color schemes for each of these projects.
Painters often appreciate these images to use as a paint palette guideline. This is in addition to the written paint palette. You can add this at any time in our process.
I'll Prepare a Written Paint Plan for You
Depending on our communications, I will follow up with you to offer a final, written paint plan including the specific colors/products to be used in the different areas of each room or exterior surface.
We may end up with specifications for paint colors from different companies, based on your needs for products and colors.
Even if you opt for the Designer Color Palettes visulaization service, you will still get the written paint plan.
