Is there such a thing as “Too Much Information” about color? I can clear the path for you so it makes sense.
There is a lot of information about color online and at paint stores. And with the thousands of options available, you can almost always pick a color you like from a small color sample. But have you ever experienced that once you get the color on your walls, you did not like what you thought was your “favorite color?”
You are not alone in your color dilemmas.
Don’t be embarrassed! This type of dissatisfaction is well documented. It’s also acknowledged—also among the other well-known color consultants in professional design circles—as being one of the main reasons our clients look for professional help.
Many people often find it frustrating to navigate all these options when selecting color palettes on their own. This is the case whether the subject is exterior or interior colors. What we call “color” is in fact level of physical “vibration” that we feel physically and emotionally. We may or may not actively recognize it. That is just part of the color equation. In fact, the well-meaning involvement of family and friends only adds further confusion.
